FOUNDER’S STORY.

Nice Film Co. is an Australian independent production company founded by Emily Medbury and Harry Cassell.

The company develops and produces long-form documentary and narrative film, alongside select commercial and branded projects.

Nice Film Co. is currently in pre-production on a feature-length documentary, developing a narrative feature film and preparing to shoot a television pilot.

Harry and Em focus on grounded, human-driven storytelling across genres. Their work is defined by strong creative direction, emotional depth, and disciplined execution.

Each month, we donate trees to help restore ecosystems, foster biodiversity, and combat climate change. Recognizing the film industry's environmental impact, we are committed to minimizing our footprint.

    We have planted 1200 trees on our journey.

    One Tree Planted is a non-profit dedicated to tackling deforestation, restoring ecosystems, and addressing climate change through global tree-planting initiatives. By partnering with individuals, businesses, and organizations, they support reforestation projects worldwide, promote biodiversity, and empower local communities. Their transparent, impactful approach is helping to create a healthier planet, one tree at a time.
